Well my eldest boy (Scott) got his bike licence Wednesday, he bought his bike last week, its a cheapie as it should be, a pretty little Suzuki SV 650.

The 3rd boy has had is licence for some months and he has a Honda CBR250R, so I asked them both if they would like to go for a short ride around the block, the block being out of Appin through Broughtons Pass, over to Mt Kiera, down the highway to Dapto through the back roads past the infamous GoldFish intersection through the creek where the little honda decided to have a rest and just stopped at the infamous 'Melvin T intersection', by the way Melvin that little T intersection does NOT have any dirt or gravel on it.

Got the bike going again in short time, up Mac Pass, which was pretty much car and truck free, and was pretty impressed by the way my boys rode, I did have a work mate ride his ZZR600 so the four of us got to the pie shop and I will tell you it was pretty cold, from there it was down Jamberoo Pass left at the bottom up the highway back up Kiera and pulled up at Appin pub.

I could share a couple of photos  that I managed to take, but I'm gunna wait until Ducmonrob shows me how to do this the next time I'm down there drinking his home brew, Rob, start making that home brew.

I have to say I had a very good and very proud day.

Ok, posting pics is easy. Save your pics to Ficker, photo bucket etc. Once uploaded right click on pic, go to properties and find the web address about half way down. Highlight the address then use CONTROL + C keys to copy.

Go to your post, click on pic tab (bottom row second from left) then use CONTROL + V to paste address. There you go all done!

See how ya go mate! waytogo

Brian, Grant (the 250 son) rides his bike to work every day, they never leave his arse, best money I ever spent, I also 'spent' on his jacket, boots, helmet er.. yep thats it.

Rob, my bloody flicker account wont open, it just sends me 'round in circles so I will try later.

Awesome mmick, I hope in the future to be able to do this with both the kiddies..... Ok, so it's a long way in the future!

Oh, and what  Matty said above - they're lucky to have an awesome teacher!

Lastly, whilst I did acquaint myself with that intersection, I cannot lay claim to it - I believe it was Lillia who was the first Oz Mo to become familiar with it, albeit she did it before OzMo existed....

I like a drink. You know when people say 'I like a drink as much as the next man'? Not if I'm the next man, you don't.
