Strangers have the best candy.
I probably shouldn't teach that to the boy.

reminds me of the old Gene Berg shop, they would send out ZOTZ with each order. Order an engine case, get a big roll.. order some heads, get a medium roll..
Thats suppose to explain the GB mark ups

they are still in business?? (googling..)
wow..
yeah, they had great deep sumps, i had a lot of head work done by them and a few custom cranks and full flow oil systems.. i had a 68 van with an engine i built from their stuff, and it was still going strong after 4 owners and 100k miles

I was thinking about ordering a bad of candy and hopefully he'll throw in a pair of timing belts or some cool bling parts with the order. You think I'd get a better freebie bonus if I order a bag of "Whatchamacallit" or the bag of "100 Grand" bars?

Wish I could find the write-up/review someone did on the mints back in the day.
"The mints arrived in pristine condition, but I was somewhat concerned with the slight casting mark that ran along their circumference. However, a few touches with some 600 (wet) sandpaper made quick work of the marks and brought out the natural luster of the mints..."

chris hates me, i've ordered a bunch of stuff over the last 4-5 years and got shit
i mean, i got my order and i was fine with it and happy even UNTIL I READ THIS GODDAM THREAD
reminds me of the old Gene Berg shop, they would send out ZOTZ with each order. Order an engine case, get a big roll.. order some heads, get a medium roll..
I assure you it is nothing personal! We just started including candy this year and If you didn't get a candy bar in your box of parts it was because we ran out that day. We try not to ever run out, but I personally pack your boxes and can say that it has happened twice.
We are working on never letting it happen again! Love you all for supporting us!!

The little prizes inside may be an expanding trend. I just purchased a new Miller welder and it came with two, not one, but two pieces of bubble gum. Now, I can't chew gum and weld at the same time, but I did enjoy my double bubble.
