CONGRATS on the win!!!

I love Indy car races...
Purpose-built racecars (or race "anything" for that matter) are where it's at!

Indy Car,
Top Fuel,
Moto GP
etc...

Looks like you had a great time!

Hmm...  Is that an extension cord in your hands?  Now we know why the pit crew lights went out.  Alan... keep your hands off the electronics next time!

The cord must have been yellow, and Alan had to have it.  Wink

See if this helps!

Some long distance shots with my new pocket camera I got from Rich

Robbie Knievel warming up his rear tire.  He wheelied nearly the entire speedway

Super windy conditions.  A little crossed up on the landing.

Saves the landing.  How about an arm pump yo

After the sun went down, about 10 or 12 of the big "black box lights" that are visible in your picture went off.  Fortunately, there was enough light cast on the track, that it didn't appear to make enough of a difference.  I only noticed because the IRL radio announcers pointed it out.  These are the big lights right along pit row (look like big black boxes on top of long poles) that are about 20 feet up in the air, and cast light right down on top of the cars when they're pulled in.  Anyway, it didn't seem to make much of a difference.

Our seats were great.  We were nearly right on the finish line!  It was a fun time!  The weather was great.

Yep, the seats were great.  Comfy and could see the track real well.  We parked right by the exit of the VIP lot, and scampered out there during that last yellow flag at the end of the race.  Beat the mad traffic rush.  Good times  waytogo
