Motogadget Mini plans, double check my work?

So Operation "Take More Shit Off the Bike" is getting underway, the emissions can finally left the building last night (not sure why I put that one off for so long).
Next on the chopping block is the gauges. I started thinking about doing this way back when before there were immobilizer delete options and drew out a plan similar to what Duck-Stew did on Spidey's bike to relocate the dashboard guts.
So now that there are more options it was back to the drawing board. Please lay an eye over my roadmap and see if I'm leaving out anything that will cause my bike to catch on fire and explode.
1. Have stock ECU flashed at Desmo-Porsche, DP-esque map and immobilizer delete
2. Reset TPS, CO, trim, etc (anyone near DC/Baltimore with the scan tool?)
3. Remove stock dashboard
4. Purchase and install Motogadget Mini using their bar clamp housing
5. Tach wire to neg. terminal, speedo wire to OEM sensor, ground everything, wire up idiot lights (any info on the location of neutral switch, best place to wire in high beam indicator, pinout for check engine and low oil pressure lights would be handy)
If it's that damn easy it's just a matter of getting a kidney prepped for removal over the off season to buy the damn Motogadget.

Looks good to me.
I'd add that you should consider using as much of the stock connectors as possible. When I wired mine up I basically bought a broken dash off ebay just so I could hook the motogadget up the to same type of connector the stock gauges use.
The last thing you're going to want is the gauge "hard wired" into the bike. And if you don't go with the stock connector, consider other connector types.

Yeah, no hard-wiring for me. I hate the bullet connectors that Ducati uses but a good old fashioned blade with heat shrink waterproofing tends to fit the bill nicely.
Quick question without having the bike to look at at the moment. Do most of the wires in question come off the ECU/dash harness or are they separate wires out to the senders?

I wired the tach input strait off the ECU (same one the stock gauge uses) and motogadget has a guide on how to wire up OEM speed sensors somewhere on their site.
I was able to find all the inputs I needed from the stock bullet connector, with the exception of the speed sensor (my bike's an 01, so it didn't have one)
YMMV as yours is an immobilized bike. Check your wiring harness, but I'd be shocked if everything doesn't go 'through' the bullet connector in the end.

Does the gauge setup you're getting support fuel sensor, temperature sensors, etc?
