Remember this most of the guys like scott, richd, ron, brian, lisa, marty, etc. Are just better riders but the grin on my face after giving her all she's got is plenty big!!

well, I'm honored to be included on such an austere list, but I've only been riding seriously a coupla years, & besides that, I'm old!!!

Great looking bike too. I'm looking at the 695 tomorrow and hoping to get it for 4,500, budget is around 5k. If the deal doesn't go through I'm going to look at a few of the S2R's out there.

I'm totally in. I'm going to try and take her down to AMS tomorrow and get some different mirrors. The guy replaced them with these really small ones and while they look ok I couldn't see anything behind me. Hopefully they can give it a quick look over. I'd like to do the HICO run with everyone on Sunday.

you should consider the bar-end mirrors. the stockers shake too much to be effective, at least for my Monster's that's been the case.

Funny you say that. I've seen them and originally I didn't like the look. After today's ride I see how those would be really practical. The cool thing is it's a 2008 model with 2400 miles and other than the mirrors is bone stock. Nothing better than a blank page to start from.
