Hey everyone,

I know it's too far for most of you but I wanted to let everyone know that IMOC is having their annual Rally on Sept 19th in Sturbridge MA.

It's always a fun time with tons of great classic, custom, and interesting Italian motorcycles to ogle.

We usually get together for breakfast before taking a nice ride in via some twisty backroads. It's awesome to ride in New England at this time of year.

For those of you are not local I have room at my house for people to crash. I have two spare guest bedrooms and a ton of floor space and a 3 season room above the garage if you want to bring a sleeping bag. We can even make a weekend of it if you want to come in on Friday. We can do a nice long group ride on Saturday and have a cookout at my house. Sort of a mini DIMBY you might say. Unfortunately we can't do a bonfire because of the neighborhood I live in but I'm sure there will be plenty of alcohol involved for those who wish to partake.

Here is a link to the event: http://www.imocusa.com/rally2010.htm

All proceeds in excess of expenses get donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (J.D.R.F.)

Anyone interested?

Wow, thats strange. I could get any of the IMOC sites to come up. I maybe there's something wrong with their site.

Anyway, I called the Hamilton Rod and Gun club and the even is still on. I just don't have any info other than it's on the 19th of Sept and it's always a cool show.   Embarrassed

If I go I will just head up straight from Da Bronks.  For those not familiar, it is a fun day waytogo

International "Talk Like A Pirate" Day!   waytogo

Where in the Bronx are ya?  My family's (before me) old house was at 217th street and White Plains Rd.   Shocked

It's definitely NOT the Italian neighborhood anymore!   laughingdp

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

Not too far away.  I'm in Morris Park, south of Pelham Parkway and east of the zoo.  The neighborhood is still pretty good, one of the lowest crime rates in the city.

It's pretty nice over there...   Cool

a few years ago, I went on a mission to find the old house.  It was shocking and sad how much the neighborhood had changed.   Cry

It was really rundown, the house had been converted to a three family home, around the corner on White Plains Rd. it was all shabby store fronts, vacant space, and the hotel was now rooms by the hour.   Tongue

I guess that's why the family moved to Connecticut.  Undecided
