I have some wired ear phones that work great. I'm looking to find a bluetooth set so that I can put the phone in a water proof pouch and still listen to music.

Again, there is a 15$ option for that.

Why must you be difficult?

Probably not what you're looking for, but I got a dual set of these for $270.

Works outstandingly well.  They just released the earbud clamp, but I'm not sure I'm going to upgrade.  The other option is your favorite set of earbuds and an otterbox for your phone.

That would be really cool if it came with a regular handset for "normal" use. I'm looking for a solution that can be used just about in any situation. The Motorola for example fits the bill except for the issue with the helmet.

That's the setup I have now. The Otter is pretty water proof, but the Florida storms might be too much even for it.

Why not just install a stereo like Goldwings and those big dresser Harley's have?

I experienced those on a BMW that was in my garage. It works best when your parked. Seriously over 30 miles an hour you can't hear anything anyway. which is 10mph less than the max speed for listening to the IPod. So I just dont.
