I saw this work of art on the wall at Sympatica the other day...

It's by Portland artist Tim Lundholm.  But... I'm trying to figure out where I can get a copy/print of this, or find any of his other artwork.  Anyone have any ideas?

Found this on Google, try giving them a call. They might be able to get a print for you or maybe tell you were you can.

"Confluence": Sculpture and printmaking works by Portland artists Mike Suri, Tom Yody and Tim Lundholm. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, Alexander Gallery, Clackamas Community College, 19600 S. Molalla Ave., Oregon City. Terry Chatkupt, 503-657-6958, ext. 2294. Exhibit runs through Jan. 18.

I'm loving the framing around it. or i guess in front of it.

never thought about a double paned glass frame larger than the  print like that.

It doesn't matter what year it was, thats why I put it up. If the artist showed at the gallery the gallery should know how to get a hold of prints. I've gotten a few prints that way.    waytogo

Good luck!!

I would rather have the Guzzi that he drew.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give that a shot!   waytogo

Thanks for the www.timlundholm.com tip!  I can't believe Google didn't find thaat when I went looking for him.

Browsing through his portfolio, I found this page:

http://timlundholm.com/artwork/1612553_guestroomgallery03.html

The print I liked was featured at a show titled "The Influence of Motorcycles on Contemporary Art".

According to his website, there were only 15 copies of that work made.

Who wants to bet it'd be cheaper for me to just buy an old Duc or Guzzi and put it on a stand in my living room?

Heard back from the artist.  There's only one in existence, but he still has the plates, and will make up to a total of 15.  $3000 just for the print... probably that much again for framing/mounting.   Undecided  Man, wish I had that much money laying around.  The nice thing about art is that it's an investment... but that doesn't help when I don't have the scratch to begin with.

Here it is again, when it was on display at GuestRoom Gallery:

It's only an investment if you plan to sell it or borrow against it.  Still nice that it may appreciate but unless you realize the appreciation with a sale it don't matter.

You ever try to buy a ton of shit? Think about that... the cost of the manure, the transportation to site, and then distribution... I think I would stick with drawing it myself. (The picture, not the poo.)    Grin
