into new digs in a week! I am stoked that I will finally be away from my completely mad roommate who will no longer be able to torment me with her unkind words and selfish actions.I took my landlady out for a thankyou meal last night and we had a wonderful time. I really like my landlady and in the past few months we have shared many meals, laughs and most importantly we have shared life. Her partner, her and I have become good pals and I will miss her but I wont miss the evil pregnant dog room-mate from hell. Anyone got any room-mate horror stories they wanna share?
Have a happy Sunday friends.............

My sophomore year of college I lived in a "suite dorm" where my roomie and (we were friends) shared a common bathroom with two other guys.

holy shit, one of them was weird as make the beast with two backs. He was like a quadruple major (Finance, Econ, Math, and Pharmacy....WTF do you do with that degree.....I calculated out his school time......it was like 7-8yrs....pharm alone is 5 at Butler)

The one time I had a roommate, it lasted a month. He met a girl and moved in with her. Paid his part of the rent for the remainder of our year. --- Perfect! Find a roommate like that [thumbsup]

Tell us about the new place :)

Yeah, I'm sure it was a huge culture shock going from NC to OR and living with him Mother's Keeper!   [laugh] [laugh]

IZ is the master of moving.

Haven't you moved like 10 times in 4 years?

when I got to pick my roomies, all was well.  i'm kinda lucky that way.
but way back in college, i had a roomie that did coke lines on my desk and would smoke up the room with his weed.

hope all works out well for you BGB. sounds like you've gone through a lot.  cheers to the future  [beer]

good luck with the move - I'm still unpacking from the one the beginning of this month - I think that's the worst part. The best part is always living with (or without) the people you choose.

Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing; however, they can still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Good luck with the move BGB!   Sounds like the timing of it couldn't come any sooner!  But glad you found a friend in the landlady out of it.

Only had a few roommates here and there.  Mostly were girlfriends going through a relationship transition.  At one point, my dad called my place "the house of wayward women".     [roll]     [laugh]

First time living with an s/o.   That's been interesting!  Good thing Randy is a patient man.   [thumbsup]

Thank you all for wises of good luck! I am gonna be sad to lose the landlady as a landlady but happy that the house I am moving into is much more serene. The man that owns the house is a pretty good guy and he rides motorbikes as well.I move on Saturday morning after I get back from getting my hair done. Its gonna be an awesome day......cool hair, new digs and no mental roomies. What could possibly be better?
Maybe a bacon sandwich?
Be well friends
