696 wheel options

Since the DP wheels are no longer available, what options are out there for replacement wheels? The only ones I've seen are Carrozzeria.

Anybody have any experience with Carrozzeria wheels? How do they compare to Marchesini or OZ? They look pretty nice and the price seems reasonable...

Go to GMF type Carrozzeria wheels into the search box. Several threads.

No worries. General Monster Forum. You normally get more hits if you search from there or the home page.

todays the last day to save 20% off OZ's, but carrozerias seem heavy for a aftermarket wheel. i picked up a set of OZ while the gettin was good, but haven't mounted them yet.
don't pay attention to MW's site about wheel weights. most of the weight listed are for SSS superbikes. the OZ wheels are only 2.5 lbs heavier for the set than BST's.

From who, Moto Wheels? I didn't see any mention of the $2,299.95 price being a sale price...

The CZ wheels finish is not as nice as the Marchesini or OZ.
BTW: OZ's motorbike division currently is run by a group of longtime ex-marchesini engineers and production team with many years of design, race and build experience. My guess is: had they stayed with Marchesini, that would have been the new Marchesini wheel.

OZ asked us to remove the sale price...but they did agree to lower the MSRP on the wheels. The single sided wheels are less expensive because they do not require cush drives, sprocket carriers or bearings.

. If we have any of the OZ wheels left from the last batch, he can give you the old sale price.

I thought they had picked up the forms from another company.
you originally had the image with the other name on it for awhile until they sent new images.
so, the OZ's come with a new cush drive and sprocket carrier? is it AL as well?
