Got this email from Vicki today:

Friday night Sept 3
Ride to Tower Shops for Hot Rod Night
Meet at Panaretto Pizza parking lot, ride leaves at 7:30
Every Friday night there is a big car scene with some bikes at Tower Shops. It’s an interesting scene to check out, we’ll probably get some dinner after.

DOCSF-FORZA Challenge - Sept 25th,2010
Something completely different, a "hunt for clues" competition with a skill test and a Ducati trivia tests that allows teams of 1, 2,or 3/4 riders to win prizes.  Details are still being organized but start time will be mid morning, involves a ride around Broward County, a stop for a snack and ends at Ducati Forza with a BB-Q and a showing of "The Ducati Story"  DVD

MODS vs. Rockers 2010
Oct 23 & 24
Ducati's are Rockers, Mods are scooters, but literally anything can enter, especially the bike show all sorts of cool bikes come out.
Day 1 is a “café crawl” a ride with fun stops including a local bike and car collection, and lunch. Day 2 is the bike show, at the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood.
This event is unusual in that it's well attended but very few Harley's. It's a fun, unusual, day or weekend, your choice.
All the details here:
www.modsvrockers.com

Pre-entry's get t-shirts,  registration is open now.

I asked Vicki where Tower Shops is and I'll decide based on that. I'm definitely going to the Forza Challenge and might be ble to make the Mods vs Rockers depending on my job.

Towershops is actually every friday night. Its at the corner of University and I-595.  There is a  Police presence but usually doesn't get out of hand.

This sounds interesting. If I'm in town I'll be there.

I would only be able to do one of the 2 events. I'm thinking that at least on Day 1 you would be able to actually ride instead of looking at all the pretty bikes.
