Ugh, can't believe I've lived in CO almost my whole life and never ridden Silverton.  Every time my buddies go, I can't for one reason or another.  It is amazing from what I've heard.

Let me know when you go, maybe I'll force the trip!

They've only been around for 6 seasons, but it is a blast and a great training focus point as well!

Love Neversummer!  I ride a T5 and a Titan.

Nice!  I've been riding them for years.  They make the best all mountain boards for sure.

From the Silverton website...

Although we cap the amount of unguided skiers to less than 475 a day, most days have less than 80 skiers on the mountain.   Ah... heaven!   ;D

I live in Denver, also ride dirt bikes.  We should meet up sometime!  I don't get down to Durango much now that all my college friends are gone.  Those were some fun days though.

And FWIW, I have a 61 Premier and a 56 Revolver.  Fun boards!

Thansk!  Had to train like mad and take max Diamox for the altitude, but it was a blast.  We went the guided route.  Bought tix for 4 days, but couldn't handle 4 straight days at Silverton.  We sold the 3rd day and went to Ouray for the hot springs instead.  I've got the beacon, shovel and probes....4 more month on the stairmaster and hopefully, I'll be good to go again!  I was at Jackson this past season for 4~5 days.

I'm still riding the same Fat Bob when I started riding in '95.   I've been to all the local spots here in the Tacoma - Seattle area; Loveland and Winterpark in Colorado; Whistler in Canada; Bogus Basin in Idaho and Heavenly in Lake Tahoe.  I learned early that I could jump anything but I could only land on my @$$.  So I just ride and enjoy with my backside intact.
