I've used my Ken Onion Chive to gut more than one deer.  Handy size for the more delicate areas....

Great pocket knife!

I've given two Ken Onion Shun Chef Knives as wedding presents.  Wish someone would give me one.......   They are pretty awesome, laminated VG-10 and excellent ergos for the kitchen.

Have you figured out a good way to sharpen that convex curve in the Onions down near the ricasso?

Pencil thin diamond stick.  I found a "Fine" one that works very well. Leaves about an eighth inch unsharpened by the Ricasso.

So many brands out there!! Sebenza, RJ Martin, Raid Ops, Zero Tolerance, Cold Steel. etc.  Here are few of my new favorites..to keep in mind for the future.

Extrema Ratio

Lion Steel..

Strider Knives..

Also, I am looking at another Mantis  but this is for my brother.  My boss just had the Z'Mora delivered Monday.  It's a monster!  My lil' bro is 6'5" so it should fit in his hand nicely.  Yes, it is a close-quarters combat knife but hopefully, he'll find daily uses for it since he is a contractor.  The only problem we saw with it was the seatbelt cutter.  Wow..it is sharp as h*ll and one could easily slice their finger or leg on it.
