The idea of having to use one to pry open a battery terminal or open a can of beens would make a guy sick
its why I can't have nice things
I finally had to toss a favorite a T-shirt I got at a Blacksmith swap-meet that had the silhouettes of dozens of antique tools and the caption:

I have always had a thing for knives with very thick blades
they make better levers

Mom and son gave me a new knife for Father's Day...the CRKT Tiny Tighe Breaker. Textured grip, blade lock, cool titanium color, serrated blade...love the knife. 2 things though..no hole for a lanyard but that's because it has a tiny glass breaker (hence the name) and the thumb stud can and did get caught on ones pocket (causing the blade to open) when clipping it into a pocket. I wanted to carry this in my khaki pants because it was a lot smaller than my ZT, the thumbstud got caught and blade came out the front of my pants about 1 1/2 inches. That would have been interesting had it gone in my leg so that knife was taken back. Now in the works to find my dad a ZT 0350 and have a local guy coat the blade.

Nice chopper.
Did you cut that tree down with it?
Is that a Kydex sheath?

Its a chopper you can shave with. I've been making kydex sheaths for most of my knives, mainly because my leatherwork sucks. Kydex is super easy to work with. A heat gun, some ove gloves, a drill, rivet setting tool and rivets and its done. My attachment is real simplistic but it works real well for me. I put a loop of leather or paracord through the top two rivets and run my belt through the loop so the knive is between the belt and my pants. I usually put it behind the hip, sort of like the Argentine Gaucho knives are carried. Out of the way but very quick access. One of my issues with most sheaths is by the time you add your attachment method, it gets too thick and bulky.

Finally found a ZT 0350 today for my dad.
A belated Father's Day/b-day gift. I want to have the black blade coated to look like the 0301. Although, there are a few other ideas I'm now considering after finding this page:
http://uparmored.tripod.com/id40.html
Notice the ZT in snakeskin and tiger-striped blade halfway down.
The 0350 is perfect size for an EDC. It goes nicely with my 0301 but I'm holding out for the 0350 ST (serrated edge).

Warren,
You been chopping down trees again with your knives? You really need to ease up on the George Washington, cherry tree, never tell a lie thing.
