Nice to see Victoria is laying on it's finest weather for all the visitors. I rode 4hrs home in torrential rain and gale force winds. Had to backtrack to the main road as some back roads had just too much water on them. Only aquaplaned once with the new back tyre.  Shocked
I too will be watching the GP from my cozy loungeroom surrounded by lots of drying out riding gear.  chug

I'm working and won't even be able to watch it on TV. Couldn't get the time off due to staff shortages.  First one I've ever missed. Depression setting in. Angry

What a great time I had!

Spent Wednesday riding down to Colac through Edenhope, Mortlake and some other bicycle tracks!
Thursday went from Colac to Apollo Bay along GOR - weather was really good!  Headed to Queenscliffe - ferry - then Sorrento and on to Phillip Island!
Even though weather was cold and wet Friday and Saturday come Sunday race it was great sunny weather - enough to get a bit of a tan!
Met Jukie and Vossy!  waytogo
Ride home was very cold but reasonably dry!
Most impressed with my Monster on the trip - averaged 5litres per 100km!  [moto] Grin

not sure if you were there Mmick - but what they showed on tv was not the full coverage - good old Wayne "the Train" at first ran over to Faubel, then attempted to punch him through the visor, twice, then pushed him over twice.  The Aussie fans were greatly impressed.... Tongue
