So, back home and thawed.  I haven't been so cold on the bike for a very long time.

Fantastic to meet some of the crew from all around the place!  Betty, Jukie, Vossy, Andy55, techno, and I think Mr.S2R.

Great to see a win for Casey too.  Re the moto2 antics I don't think we''l be seeing Wayne in the big time again.

Cheers.

A 5000 Euro fine and a lifetime ban from MotoGp is the result.

yep, what a douche bag.

got halted in Corryong on the way down due to flooded roads - ended up riding through 4 flooded sections...feet up near your hands to stop water getting into your boots!

lots of aqua-planing and loose front-end, but Sunday was sensational in true PI fashion - never can pick the weather down there. Bumped into Jukie and The Don(at Gundagai on the way back). Also met a guy called Kent who rode down from Sydney on a 620.

Epic trip this year thanks to those rains.

So then, who was that last person that joined us at Coles?  Any ideas?  Huh?

That would be Hambo if my memory serves me correctly (unless it was frozen)

What a fantastic weekend! waytogo waytogo

Besides Ducati and Stoner winning, the highlight of the weekend was meeting up with all the other OzMo's who made the trek down to the island (for Techno , up to the island) and bravely fought the wind, cold and rain. applause applause

A special thanks to Jukie for organising the troops, and for the dance  Kiss(legend) Hope you and Betty had a safe trip home.

I got home just on dark yesterday after two days of sensational riding weather. Got to do the Black and Reefton spurs on Monday with very little traffic and NO PLOD! waytogo

My only bummer was that I picked up a piece of wire in my rear tyre, so I now have a slow leak. Sad also not to metion the big grey roo that tried to kill me only a few Kms from home..

After sloshing around in the PI mud on the weekend my Bike boots are toast. They're 12yr old) Good excuse to pick some new ones up for my Birthday in a few weeks. Grin

Maybe we could organise a OzMo house next year if we get enough people who would like to go (just thinking out loud)

 waytogo for the whole experience

Good to meet everyone on Saturday night.

I have never ridden in worse conditions than I did to get to PI on Friday morning.

Mondays ride was also cut a bit short due to crappy weather east of PI.

Despite the weather I had a great time.  drink [moto] drink
