I think my pipes are pretty loud , especially on the " R " ( 102 dbs )....but I can't hear them w, the earplugs I wear.

In fact I can't hear hardly anything w, them in !

that bill actually started as a emissions test for motorcycles and was neutered and watered down to this point.  It's funny how the focus went from one thing to another until it finally passed.  Originally it was going to be retroactive to like 2001 or something.  Crazy.

the really crazy part is we already have noise abatement laws on the books.  All this does is say 'after 2012 your cans need some special stamp that most LEO can't identify already.'

The world is gonna end in 2012 anyway, I'm not worried Wink

I just purchased an aftermarket slip-on set from Italy. They came with a card that said the cans meets euro emissions standards. I wonder if that nearly incomprehensible card would be enough for a loud traffic stop.
