Anyone have a plan for LED idiot lights

I want to build a smaller idiot light array for my Monster. Has anyone here built one? I am thinking of a small aluminium piece with neutral light, brights,indicators (turn signals) and oil gauge. I just don't know if I need resistors and such.

You can get the idiot light surround made for the TrailTech Vapor.  Has the (BRIGHT!) LEDs, and colored faces to match (bright, neutral, turn, etc...)

I may just do that. It looks cheaper to do than to source and do my own. I was also thinking of going with the Vapor Tech computer to make it even simpler. Let's just say my Duc speedo is, er, um optimistic

How simple is the install? Have you done it?
