The thing about this project, is it's for fun; I don't want my bike to be more powerful, but that'd merely be a side-affect.  I just love turning wrenches..

With 40k on your bike, it's pretty clear that you like to ride too.  My thought is to fix your clutch, keep riding and buy a separate project bike.  That way you can wrench to your hearts content while still riding.

I might have to, unfortunately...  Maybe I'll just ride the clutch out until it doesn't move or until I find a suitable engine! hahaha..
I guess there are good and bad mods; you'll find the good ones here ;)

JUSTTTTTTTT KIIDDDDINNNGG.

I'm pretty sure the pins line up on the gauges between S2R and 620; 7-6-6-7

Also, found an S2R engine up in WA on ebay, gonna see if I can work some magic.

now what?  I will quote what my mechanic said about mine at 49K, "take it to the back, and shoot it!"   :'(
620M 2004 Dark i.e.; ~ 57K miles (all me);  Looking to swap out engine now.
Triumph Speed Triple 2006 (now ~ 44K miles bought @ 4K miles on 04/2010)
Honda Grom 2015 ~ 3500miles so far.  Love this lil bike

Guess I should have shot mine about 8K miles ago, my friend should have shot his about 31 K ago, bigian, I guess some 50+K miles ago and philb had 187K on his June last year.  Take care of your Monster and it will run a long time.

Sorry I've yet to update as of late...

I got the engine all in and wired up, but I think the fuel pump may be installed incorrectly or I may be getting no spark, because the starter cranks, but no fire!! Anyways... I've been busy overseas and have yet to finish, I may end up taking it to Valley (Nick) if he's willing to take it on, or even Stu if I feel like going for a good road-trip/ if he would take it on..

Flight Cycles and Valley Ducati ftw.

Alright, expect a phone call and visit in the next two weeks, I'll be leaving afghanistan soon, but heading back near the end of October... [thumbsdown]

Anyways, the engine cranks, immo is disabled (houston superbikes) and it still needs a custom exhaust installed..  There's alot to do.. hahah
