For leaving from River/Falls Rd, still on for leaving the start at 9:30/10:00AM? I'm more for the ride myself, so if I can't ride a demo, meh. Although I suddenly find myself with an empty spot in the garage...

Meet at 9:30, leave as soon as everyone gets there (no later than 10). Police

There's a Starbucks for you and a gas station for your bike. coffee

As for the empty spot, if Ducpond can't take care of it, craigslist certainly will! drool

I can only go out for a few hours, so 'd like to tag along at the beginning, maybe head home from Charlestown or Summit Point. See you at 9:30.

I plan to leave out the house by 8am or sooner  Those slots fill quickly.  So I want to be there by 10a I may have a pack of 3-5 it all up in the air.  Anyone in the dc area wants to tag along feel free. I would love to roll with you guys but I think the leave time is too late. If we meet at 8am I am there.  Last year I think I demo at least 3 bikes minumum.

I really don't feel like getting out that early, it's cold and I'm lazy Wink

I rather stay warm and miss a few bikes. Routes are posted if you, or anyone, wants to leave at a different time.

Wow, I went today and got to ride the Streetfighter with termis, Monster 1100 with termis, Hyper 796, MV Brutale with the cannonball kit (+30 hp), and the Mulitstrada.  I liked the Streetfighter a lot and it felt like I was ready to buy one when I was done.  It is a lot faster than any air cooled Monster will ever be.  The Monster 1100 felt great because it was most similar to my current bike.  I felt really comfortable when going quickly.  The Hyper 796 was an OK bike, but I've never really warmed up to the upright riding postion and it felt down right boring compared to the previous two bikes.

The MV Brutale 1099RR Cannonball was amazing.  It was insanely fast, crazy loud, and easy to ride at the same time.  It was on another planet compared to any other bike there.  It felt so illegal even when I was in a line of riders riding at the same speeds.  I was buzzing for a while after the ride.  It was the best 4-cylinder experience I've ever had and I've ridden a 2010 MV F4 and 2 of the current Japanese liter bikes.  You owe to yourself to ride it.
