Hi Guys,

i work on the missing frame plugs for Monster 696-796-1100

i need your opinion for the big center screw... i think its better to cover the screw than to replace it.
why? i open the screw for testing and biing the nut on the backside falls down ... bang head  laughingdp

So if my nut falls down also yours can do it  Grin

theres 2 possibilities to cover the screw ... produce a bigger plug or produce a plug which enclose the screw

the bigger type are much more easy to produce , but maybe "to big" ?

the enclosed type have to be cupped on the backside ,so more work but little smaler

what do you think?

i ask only about the diameter, not the design  waytogo

Thanks
Chris

Can you make the smaller one match the plugs for the seat cowl?

I want the whole set!!

well for me, I want the lower frame plug that you have.

can you match the stock center bolt on style?

as for your set. the smaller one.
although I'm not against replacing the bolt itself, since I've done that job as a whole, it's not that difficult, but a torque wrench is required if you want to do it right. so i  doubt you could use aluminum since it's a main component of holding the frame together.

i'm all for a black, better looking big rearset bolt replacement, as well as the big frame bolt, and the rear frame bolt in black.

the front one is already replaced with sliders, not pretty, but oh so valuable
