So, two weeks ago I got a Paul Smart. I had been thinking about getting one for a while so when one came up for sale in Austin I had to get it. It's the most uncomfortable bike I've ever been on but I love it. The gearing is all wrong for the city but once you are go over 70mph it glides.
Here are some photos.

I still have the Monster 695 but it's for sale.

Thanks. In addition to being a beautiful bike, I want to make it ridable in the city. It needs new chain and sprockets any way so, I'm gonna change to 14/41 from the factory 15/38. It looks like the most common gearing mod for this model and it's pretty close to what I have on the Monster (14/42).

Thats a heck of a big gearing change. Wouldn't it be better to switch to the 14T front first for a couple of days and then if you still feel the need to gear it lower, get the 41T rear and new chain.

Too late. I already ordered the new set up from Monster Parts. The rear sprocket is not too expensive ($39) so if I don't like it in the first few days I'll get a different one.
