tank slapper - buckle protector only?

Until recently I had the tankslapper 3 piece kit on my 620.  One of my jackets marked up the buckle protector and gave it some nasty black marks.  the knee pocket sections are fine, and I'd find it wasteful to buy a whole new kit, needing only one section.

Anyone know if the tank slapper film can be obtained just for the buckle area of the tank?

if you get some of the 3m clear adhesive stuff that might work and if you cut it right it won't be that noticeable.  the protection it gives is not great but its better than nothing.

I gently polished mine up a bit to get some mild scuffs and black marks off...  Worked ok in my case.  You might also try contacting the tank slapper folks to see if they'd sell just the center piece.  I seem to recall that they've done that in the past.
