Some might remember me asking about a longer side stand for a m900 due to raising the rear end up. Well I happen to find a solution and want to share it with everyone.
I dug up this:
http://www.ducatimonster.org/forums/accessories-mods/188420-longer-cheaper-side-stand.html...and ended up buying a 2006 Paul Smart side stand for 60 bucks off ebay. Installed it in about 5 minutes and works great! I did not have to change the bracket or kickstand switch. Just slipped her on in

I checked all the part number prior to ordering and wasn't sure it would all jive but regardless of the differing part numbers for brackets and kickstand it fit without any modification. Not that the pictures of any of the ducati parts should be considered accurate I felt it was another way to compare parts from different bikes to see if there is any similarity other then part numbers. I wonder if Ducati put out different part numbers based on model and year of bike even if the parts are identical?
