I really was just kidding about a knee on the street. That curve with the 10 mph sign freaks me out mentally though I really need to work on some confidence going through it. There was another really bad one for me on Paul's ride this weekend.

That he is, and before long, he'll be faster that you Ian.   Evil

With my knee back peddling the way it's been... a toddler's getting to be faster.  Angry Back to the doc on Friday... something's not right.

On topic... so now that you have a SSS bike, you know you need new tools - right? New rear stand, eccentric hub spanner, flux capacitor calibrator and a blinker fluid mixture tester.

Good luck with the knee! I hope you get lucky and have a cute physical therapist to torture you. It always makes it a little more tolerable when they make you cry if you like looking at them. Grin

Tocino threw in a pitbull rear stand as part of the deal. I'll have to snag a spanner wrench and that big ass socket for the axle nut from somewhere. I'm gonna hold off until the digital flux capacitor calibrator and high-resolution blinker fluid mixture tester come out. If I'm really lucky, I'll find a Battery-powered Ultra Long Life Super High Intensity Transformation detector. You don't happen to have a lead on one do you?

Man those guys are good! Doesn't look like they have the flux capacitor calibrator or a blinker fluid mixture tester, but they have good prices on replacement flux capacitors and high-quality blinker fluid. While you're laid up with your gimp knee, you want to help me mod their car-to-tank kit to run on the s2r? I think a DucTank would be cool as hell! And my inner vegetarian wants the salad shooting spinning rims!!

While you're at it, make sure to pick up a great pair of Cross Drilled Brake Lines to go with the rotors, ultimate performance!  laughingdp

As do I!  BSTs are the best (and most expensive) mod that I did to the SC.  The difference was unbelievable!!

Sounds like they'll make the 620 as fast as the s2r!  laughingdp

Of course, for that cost I could spend 2 days the superbike camp and learn to turn, brake and ride with the rims I have. That said, those would look pretty sick on my bike. Damn, I need to sell my beater jeep.

It's not at all about how they look.  All the rotational weight lost with these wheels has a simply staggering effect on how the bike accelerates, brakes and turns in.  You have to experience it to understand.
