Hello Mr. President, hello there members of this DOC club.
My name is Enzo Fico, Ducati Dreams Club DOC of Naples vice-president, and I'm writing to you to let you know about Paolo Pirozzi adventure around the world.
Paolo left on the 13th of June from WDW2010 riding a Ducati  Multistrada 1200 to go "out and about" for a year and touch all the 5 continents and meet the partners of many DOC clubs in the world.

This adventure, called "Giro del Mondo in 80 DOC/World Tour in 80 DOCs", should end in June 2011, after covering about 100.000 Km/62.000 miles all alone. The budget (very lean about 80 euros per day) is intended for fuel, pay-toll roads, sea and air travels, maybe a snack and a beer of course. He can't sleep in hotels, except on few occasions of being holded by the Ducati fan of the day, therefore he sleeps in a tent, under the stars...

Paolo is not mad, he's not a hero nor an ironman, but you can ask the president of your club what Paolo is made of.

You can follow his tour through the stories and videos that he posts, in English too, on www.paolopirozzi.com .

The only thing he wants is to read your comments to his stories, but be sure to write them only if the stories got you excited after reading. These comments will be Paolo's energy to charge his batteries every time he'll face the music. There have been so many problems, I can assure you, and many others will come as far as Paolo comes back.

For further informations you can get in touch personally with me by PM or by mail.

I'll update this post every news item that will be added to the website.
Best wishes

...and maybe...

just maybe your reaction to his screen name is part of the reason why people around the world hate Americans.

Your screen name doesn't make you that. Roll Eyes

80 euros per day doesn't seem like a lean budget to me.

Maybe your reaction to my location is part of the reason people hate Porsche owners.

Do you think that we could try to be adult enough to keep this somewhere near topic.

You know...support a fellow motorcyclist on his journey and all.

I think the OP's screen name is supposed to be Latin for ubermensch; just doesn't have the right ring to it somehow.

(per mod's suggestion)

Good luck with the journey!
