awesome footage on that first clip. v sad on the 2nd one.

bikes don't do the Bathurst circuit anymore do they ?

like the leather pants - no knee sliders back then!

Not a bad bit of footage considering no video cameras small enough then ,would have had to be a film camera.
Not to sure on the exact demise on the races at Bathurst  but  many fatality's Cry very dangerous circuit. and the uncontrollable rabble camped at the top of the Mountain Evil

yeah, I was thinking ti was a bit TT-esque! tight, no run out, close walls. But even that footage through the twisties was really great.

I went to "the last race" in the early '90's (probably '93 or '94) after which the cops shut the event down, then again at a special on-off Formula Extreme meet in 2000.

It needed a brave racer to enter events there...

coming from Lithgow, we use to take a trailer load of coal up for the fire and camp around the womens dunny so's they had to walk through our camp to go to the loo!  Evil
went there for many years and saw some funny stuff!  Smiley
