Hi guys,
wondering if someone can tell me how these mirrors are mounted (or suggest an alternative). Really like the napoleon mirrors mounted above the bars like this, not a fan of bar-ends and I lane split a lot in San Francisco so it's kinda out. Was thinking about just ordering some short-stalk square generic mirrors when I saw this setup, but I can't figure out how he's doing it... looks like maybe bar-end mirrors where he's screwed the mounting screw into the pivot screw hole for his brake levers? Anybody done this?

Or if you've got a simple suggestion for napoleon mirrors that will go in my mirror mounts that'd be great too, but I can't seem to find any...

much appreciated!

A

Lotsa folks in SF use CRGs, it just takes a bit of getting used to.

Anyway, these mirrors are designed (? Or were modified) to replace the lever 'pivot' bolt hole with something you can mount a bar onto. Technically you could just drill and tap the existing bolts you've got to accept the standard allen bolt that Napoleons come with.

In fact, it kinda looks like that's what this guy did. Nifty  waytogo

Off topic: Stop by the MOB forum and say high to your fellow SF lanesplitters

I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...
