I went the expensive route last year and got a Matris fork kit up front with an Ohlins shock and new spring out back.

At the minimum, you want a rear spring for your weight and adjustable settings up front and out back.

I'm a big guy, too, and having the bike set up for me transformed the riding experience for me!!!
