the change you get back is the kind of change you'll need to help pay off the bill for the GP Masters
Thats good.

On my 696 turning them upside down created a gap between the two halves so I just ordered a replacement set intended for the Hypermotard. Problem solved

I noticed that too but there was a gap there before I flipped it so I just made it so the majority of the gap was on the lower part of the clamp so you hardly notice it. If it does bother me its good to know that I can get ones from a Hypermotard. Thanks for the tip.

Yea same here, still more appealing visually than the holes being visible though.
I'd rather have my holes hidden then plugged up.

Note: they don't work on the 696/1100/SF series. Different thread diameter.
If you are talking about the old school ones that I found in the back of a display case at our shop too

get black plugs from the hardware store or home depot or lowes, they will literally cost something like 1.29 after tax, and look almost factory stock.

Ok you know when you put a table together lets say a computer desk in this instance. You screw it all together and at the end you are left with plastic covers to hide the screws to make it all look flush. These are 'Perfect'!!! Just put a little bluetack on the end and push them in. This works fine and I had them on both bikes now totaling 3yrs+ , they never ever came loose even after weather and endless meticulous washing.
