What kinda paint do I need?

Wanna rattlecan the belt and sprocket covers flat black. I saw where someone did their engine side cases with grill paint, and it looked almost like a textured powdercoat. That's what I'm going for, but I wanna make sure grill paint will stick to whatever material the covers are made from. Anyone know?

The best rattlecan for plastic is Krylon Fusion. It was made for just that.
Last time I checked it wasn't available in flat so I would suggest you use the fusion for you first coats and finish with the grill paint.

They do make a Fusion in flat. It's called Krylon Camouflage. It's a non reflecting ultra flat. I used it on my fly screen. Found it at Wally World.

Duplicolor Black Trim Paint is the best. I've used it on my exterior trim on my car and it has lasted two years without even slightly fading and no chipping. I did use Duplicolor Adhesion Promoter as well first, worked like a charm. A completely flat finish looks like a rattlecan job, this stuff looks perfect.

I used Rustoleum all purpose satin black. Its lasted two years and is still holdiIt even didnt chip when I brought it in to get serviced. Just be sure to wash everything good with dishsoap and scuff with some scotchbrite.
