Not sure why the Sedici and the R1 sound alike...
R1 - 180-90-180-270 or 1-0-1-1-0-1-0-0- D16 - 90-200-90-340 or 1-1-0-1-1-0-0-0-
Or do I have the info wrong?

That Recording sounds nothing like the D16.

Hmm...that recording sounded pretty accurate to me. And yes, the R1 and D16 sounded similar.

Ducati on a race track have always had a unique sound. Even back in the '60s you could tell when there was a Ducati single in the pack. ![waytogo](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/waytogo.gif)

Well, it's much raspier in person. Also, riding one without ear plugs makes your ears feel like they are bleeding. ![waytogo](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/waytogo.gif)

Very true, the D16 is MUCH raspier. And also must agree with the volume. I rode behind one a while ago and couldn't even hear my own full arrow exhaust...lol.
