Gosh, I just checked the price of the MG instruments. I understand completely.
I hear tell they're made by blind German nuns and then hand-polished by Zeus.
Seriously, a lot of folks swear by the Veypor as the best price/performance unit out there.

It's not a big deal by any means, but the Tach needle is a piece of red anodized billet.

I've got a fair amount of MG stuff on my bike (ChronoClassic and the mUnit, as well as a few other tidbits) and it's all top-notch.

^^^ Bookmarked
While I'm done with gauges for the Chromo, It's always bugged me that the KTM doesn't have a temp gauge.

Hi, I've searched around on multiple message boards and Google and have not found anything conclusive.
Is it possible to install an aftermarket gauge cluster using the factory wiring? Has anyone done this that can provide some useful information? Will all of the indicator lights work without putting in new sensors everywhere? It is pretty simple to do using the wiring diagrams in the service manual?
Thanks.
someone here did a nice job installing an Acewell instrument but it sounds fairly involved....am considering it all the same, really hate the immobilizer and the leaky gauges that make me fear rain

Any suggestions on a blinker relay? I have everything else sorted out preinstall, but no ideas on how to wire up a replacement relay.
Also, which speed sensor wire is used, two go into the dash, Gr/G and R/B. Gr/G also goes into the ECU...
