The sales guy at the local dealer told me he sold a guy 2, that's right 2 D16's - one for riding of course and the second one for ....

If I owned a pure display bike I think I'd still feel compelled to keep it maintained so that it could be fueled and ridden, should I want to.

Then it wouldn't be a display bike..  Grin

You're like me, I could never not ride a perfectly good bike.

I would buy a totaled bike and throw some new fairings on it to make it look new and display it...but if it was ridable I would ride it.

 boo The room is too small and fugly for the bike imho, If it was in the man cave and not his wifes tv room I'd be fine with it.
I'd have kept my 996 under glass if I could have had a second one to ride. Friken beautiful bike it was.
