Just a quick update.  Pulling 2 of the clutch springs did the trick for her. My simple math says it reduces the pull by 1/3 and it made her happy.   Vino!

and you get no slippage at full throttle in the upper rpm ranges? I put my 2 springs back in to fix slippage.
