no, I'm pretty certain I'm more injured than they are. But the little old lady is probably PISSED at her daughter though.

WHAT an idiot. And yes.. broadsided her dead on. hit right behind the front wheel, she was at a slight angle in her turn so my entire front left is back into my front wheel. front right is smooshed. coolant everywhere, battery smashed... etc. her door was smashed in so much the upper part started folding out.

SOOO glad I wasn't on the bike. but i feel I could have stopped faster on the bike. and she probably would have heard me!... loud pipes save whiplash!

I broadsided some stupid woman on my very loud 996 when she decided her red light had turned green and launched out into the intersection.

It was stupid loud, but she was still stupider.

If sails wouldn't slow us down. this would make a great banner for riding (and apparently driving)

Damn Jerry, glad to see/hear that you're alright, for the most part.

So, was it a Fraulein or a (I'll get flamed for this, but Jerry knows that I mean) stupid American driver that pulled out in front of you?

German lady driver. mid 40's with her 60+ mother in the car.

She had 3 indicators, yield sign, paint on the road, and the fact she was coming off a road 1/2 the size of mine.
She's admitted verbally she made the mistake, and her son called stating the same. Their insurance is supposed to take care of me but we'll see.

honestly, i know that i did a lot to mitigate the damage, at 70kph -- if I had not been slowing down, and then had my foot over the brake to be able to try and stop (I was saying to myself,"she's gonna stop, she's gotta stop, shit... she's not stopping")
-- and a straight t-bone, she was not hurt as much as she would been had I not been alert.
