You nailed it. That is the only problem I have with these mirrors. From most angles it isn't noticable, but from some angles these are too wide.

Not sure. Previous owner had the tank painted. I'm pretty sure he said he sent it to Duc Painter (Nate of Frosty Finishes) to have it done.
