Prime it how?

Like this:

Every once in a while.... I would turn the bike on, hit the starter and it would just spin without firing.  I would shut the bike off, turn the key back on and it would fire right up.

Most occasions the miserly fuel delivery was just enough to fire the bike into life.  But sometimes not - and on the sometimes not occasions it started on the second attempt.... having already been fed unburnt fuel from the first failed attempt.

But this assertion of mine? Take it as a well intended counter-theory based on my experience of entirely resolving the occasional starting shenanigans by increasing fuel delivery at start up.  Or dismiss it as BS.  I dont mind either way  waytogo.

i agree to the prime it method described above. i've never had one not start using that method unless the battery was toast.
