Just as the tittle says... I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get my hands on a dp gel seat for a 2007 s2r 800. I've tried ebay and looked around but nada just seats for new style. Thanks ahead of time!

Dealer. Ducati still makes them for that bike, so the dealer can get them.

Not listed at Ducati.com - discontinued?
There must be a few around at dealers though....

The "Comfort" seat has no gel? How are people gonna get heat therapy during the summer?

I did an internet search, and there are still vendors out there listing the "gel" seat for the S2R... so you just gotta do a wider search. Look like they're still in the $230 range.

The company that made the original seats has gone away. (AFAIK)
ducati only sells the new mfr seats

you'd have to find somebody with an old one on the shelf, or 2nd hand

So Jeff the Ducati Performance Touring Seat you sell for the older monsters does not have gel now?  Does that mean it doesn't get as hot?

correctomundo
the new DP seat the same mfr as the seats for new monsters and hypers.
the one for the older bikes looks most similar to the 696 low seat (kind of a velvet-suede looking material in the center)
