Anyone have experience with steering dampener?
Nope.  Cant say I've ever felt the need to moisten mine  Wink.

This on M696 also fits M1100..

Maybe give the search function a whirl  waytogo.

Consider this your lucky day,

I just put the Bitubo Dampers for the Ducati Monster 696 / 796 / 1100 on sale for $75 off yesterday night.

http://bellissimoto.com/Specials.html

As for how they work,

If you spend some time using the search function you will see how many people on here are more than happy with the Bitubo Dampers performance, and I personally used one on my 1098 for the past 14,500 miles.

I've also got one sitting next to my now completely apart Monster S4RS waiting to be installed.

I'm not in the market for a steering damper, but your pop's SR500 is the bomb!!!  One of my all-time favorite bikes.

Thanks, that bike is a blast to ride.

Not because it does anything well (because it doesn't!), but because it is so freakishly cool looking and sounding that everyone has to stop and look.

Believe it or not I used to ride it to highschool my senior year after my 2nd Monster 620's motor blew up.

+11ty billion for the bitubo, i picked mine up off belissimoto as well, my bike is too trashed up for me to post bike pron. so i wont (its got rain grime on it for the past 2 months!)

anyway, the way it makes your front end feel is ridiculous. I feel 10x safer with it and its saved my ass  more times then i can count. (and have had 2 MAJOR tank slaps where i got thrown across lanes of traffic)

Going to be damp here in Washington State.  Thanks for pointing me in the right direction and for helping me with the weather report.

You got to be ready when you get in the ring with the bull.
