ive had a rivet strap and the dark plate on order for over a month. apparently getting any exhaust mfc to send replacement parts for any bike/system is like pulling teeth.

I don't understand why you don't just paint them or have them coated. You could have been done with this already! Instead of complaining about how long it takes to get parts just rattle can the damn things and be done with it. Is a 'Dark Line' badge really worth this much hassle? Maybe you should have ordered your exhaust kits like that to begin with! The Italians are having a laugh at your expense right now as we speak. What do you think makes the 'Dark Line' parts dark?...... Paint, ya fools!!! Roll Eyes

If you like the look of the dark logo you have to hand-paint the blue background black and the "Arrow" white.  Rattle-canning it won't work.  I don't know about you, but my hand isn't steady enough for an acceptable end product.

One alternative, I suppose, is to remove the logos all together and just replace the rivets.

That's why they make masking tape. It would take about 10 cents in tape and maybe 20 minutes in time.

Err, that's a negative boo
Just hit the whole dang badge with some BBQ paint. The badge plate is embossed so the ARROW logo is still readable, just not in your face per usual. Nothing 'Dark' about a logo with white lettering now is there? That's even more in your face than the original! All the people who are familiar with the product will still know what it is, all that aren't familiar won't have a clue nor will they care. It's a LOGO - basically free advertising for Arrow that you bought & paid for to have on your bike. I think Arrows are the bomb, but that giant logo is embarrassing. To each his own, but you guys waiting months for a BADGE and complaining about it online are beyond the pale of 'tarded and you deserve what you get! Bet those guys at Arrow are enjoying your irrational obsession with the color of the badge. If I were them I'd make you wait for at least six to nine months, and upcharge you out the wazoo just for kicks. Why don't you all get angry & fly on over there and confront them at the front desk laughingdp
Just paint the make the beast with two backser already, JEEEEEEEEZ

Not complaining, just reporting as others have asked me to do.  What I don't understand is a company goes to all the trouble to publish spare part numbers and will not sell spare parts.  Not just to me but for maybe someone who has a real need for a spare part from Arrow.  I am not an artist, If I can't get the parts, I'll live with what I have.

You obviously have your panties in a wad over a non-problem.

G'day Bill

I have the silver and black Arrow badge on my carbon cans , that part number badge (5855109) you listed is indeed a direct swap.
I got mine from the local importer here in Australia (Admant Industries) who had them in stock and shipped straight away.

Thank You for the tip Sir.  It must be our distributor then.  I've sent them an email, I've had good luck getting bits from Australia before.

its not just arrow, for whatever reason exhaust mfc in general are notoriously difficult to get parts from. thats why most shops wont order spare parts for you, it can take months (if ever) and they dont want to be put in the middle of that.
