Am I the hammer or am I the nail?

« on: June 09, 2008, 01:04:12 PM »

So I've got a '97 M750 which I acquired via a dealer auction, so the history is unknown. The bike has a lot of mods such as the requisite tail chop, powder coated rims, stage 2 jet kit, open air box, etc etc. But the weird thing is the exhaust! I have not been able to track down the manufacturer, and my local Duc dealership tech has never seen it's like. Thinks it might be "two brothers," but I can't find anything online about that. It's a 2-into-1 header system with what appears to be an Arrow can at the end, mounted on with springs and hooks, low mounted by where the passenger pegs would be if they weren't removed.

So my question is: anybody know any 2-1 header systems which would fit a '97 M750? I'm at work so I can't post pics, but I'll put some up tonight if my Wifi works! Tanks in advance  chug

Not sure about the can description - but DP had a 2-1 set up that ended with cafe looking megaphone
