The R and the blue and white bikes are totally different.  The B/W machines are/were the SE's from 2009 and 2010.

No one knows for certain, as there has not been any information coming out of Hinkley so far.  But from what you can tell in the pics, Ohlins bouncy bits and Brembo monobloc stoppy bits.  Rumor has it that it will come with a quickshifter from the factory as well...

Quite disgusted with the blue/white, actually.  They look terrible up close.  Buddy had a black/gold limited 2009 Daytona (and promptly dropped it a month after buying new), that was the sex.

While this looks nice, how can you beat the Dark Stealth 848?

Test rode a 675 today. I can't justify the premium cost of it when it felt so much like a Japanese inline 4.

I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

The only way a 675 is at "premium cost" is if the dealers are marking down the jbikes to sub 9k.  675s are the cheapest of the ss bunch, but often sold closer to retail than the j bikes, which are often marked down to almost nothing
