2011 M1100 has some changes that I heard of from Ducati. Good Stuff

There goes ducati stealing my ideas again......

finally, a decent passenger peg off the frame setup, instead of those ugly rearsets...they realized how horrible of a design that was visually.  I wonder how much of this is to streamline the Termi slipons for the multi/diavel/monster (if it will do this, i don't know what the termi option will be, but I can only assume similar style/fitment).

with some smaller, better looking cans, that's a solid upgrade to the complaints many had with the 1100.

Nice! The potential for this bike just increased that much more.

The new style exhaust allows for a lot of cool "streetfighter" style slip on exhaust. Similar to the low mount arrows on the street triple.

Figures everything I do aftermarket is now stock...
Is this thing on?

interesting. using the Diavel styling to make the Diavel part of the family.

Wonder how it's going to affect cornering clearance.

the rearsets are nice.

want to see what they're gonna do to the 696 and 796 now

Figures!! they fix the main visual problems with the 696/796... FUGLY rearsets and under seat exhaust that is too damn hot in the summer...

No more dry clutch  [coffee]

"The Monster 1100EVO features a new APTC wet clutch which ensures quiet operation and long life. In addition, the progressive self-servo mechanism reduces the lever effort at the handlebar and makes the Monster even more practical in traffic. The Monster 1100EVO APTC wet clutch works with a race-like 'slipper' system which reduces the destabilizing effect of the rear-end under aggressive down-shifting, and compared with other wet clutch used so far by Ducati, features an additional cush-drive damper mechanism which smoothes the repeated transition from drive to over-run during stop-start traffic."

And about a 1100EVO SP version with Forged wheels, Öhlins and Brembo M4?  [laugh]

Hmm the end of the dry clutch? I'd invest in that possibility.

The EICMA content from Milan seems to be coming thick and fast today and well ahead fot eh official releases. This top of the range Ducati Monster 1100EVO brings an older S4R look to the new Monster range and replacing the 1100S model with a true 100bhp air-cooled twin for the first time.

The 100bhp is no doubt achieved in part due to the larger Diavel / Streetfighter side mounted twin exhausts. The new model reportedly includes ABS and traction control as standard as well as provision for the DDA Ducati Data Analyzer. The ergonomics have been revised with a flatter seat and taller bar whilst the forks seem to be Marzocchi units that have lately been back in fashion at Ducati.

no more dry clutch what a shame, looks like you have to order the 2010 abs model instead while they last.
