wow that looks great.  Cleans up rusty pipes that good?  Did you do it on the bike or take the exhaust off?  What about the exhaust flanges, can they be cleaned up as well?

tried this on the weekend.  I only had a 400 grit sandpaper laying around, but after some hard elbow grease my rusty pipe looks like its come back to life.  Has a nice stainless steel finish now.  Gonna spend a little more time on it with a heavier grit paper to get the stubborn spots off.

Great tutorial ! mine seem to have gone a really dark brown and sticky ? Nota sure why this is I did spray a lil wd4o on before starting and forgot to wipe it off could that be why ?

Yes you only want a super thin film on them.  That's why you want to wipe it down with a paper towel.  Another thing that works, but stinks to high heaven is ATF fluid.  It will also do the rust removal...
