No idea. Best theory I can come up with is it's to help funnel waste when you open the throttle and shit your pants.

Seems to be a strut to make the rear a hardtail, but I can't figure out why it goes all the way through the swing arm.

My first guess was that for some reason they were using it as the NOS tank, but I didn't see any fittings.

Eh, not a big deal, it's a drag bike.    Its 2 main purposes is "GO" and "GO FAST!".

vertical cylinder exhaust...at least, that is what it looks like to me...
