Is there a group ride down from the San Mateo area?

I'm game to meeting up.

I don't know of anyone else going from San Mateo area, I'm probably leaving around 6 pm.

How's traffic at that time going south?

How late does this go until?

Not too bad, usually I take 280.

Did you want to meet up with me and gojira?

Cross post:

I'd recommend 280 all the way down from SF.

It's usually not too bad, and it's certainly much better than dealing with the narrowed lanes of 101 around Burlingame and San Mateo because of construction. Plus the road surface is just plain crappy through there as well.

It runs to how ever late you want it!   Grin

Oh yeah, on the return taking 280 is a race track all to yourself at that time of night.  Evil

  + 1 on that.

Ya If I can get out of the city early enough. Where when to meet? Later is better for me.
I'll confirm - I have to juggle some things.  Wink

There is a Park n Ride lot just off of the Edgewood Rd. exit from 280, just east of 280.   Would that work?

What time is good for you?

I'll PM you my cell #.

I do NOT recommend taking 280 home late at night.  True there is very little cars, but there is also a lot more night life coming onto the road.  I personally take 101 when on my moto if it is after 8-9pm.  My .02

280 is also poorly lit compared to 101.  And that "night life" includes deer.
