According to PJ's mailings.....

We'll be hosting our first ever, first annual bike show Saturday November 13th. We'll have categories for best modern and vintage for Ducati, Triumph and Husqvarna and best of show. The judging will be by all attendees in public balloting. We'll be giving gift cards to the winners of each category. We're excited to see what you've done to your bikes!

Wadda ya think, NMMR Flunkies?!?

Where's that blacked-out S2R, Matt?  Where's that Cafe Racer, Stuart?  Where's that SICK GP exhaust, Wayne?

Dig that stuff outta the garage and let's get us some gift cards....or at least get to laugh at the ugly bikes that show up.   Cool

Hell I dont remember the last time I "washed" my bike.  It gets some plexus and some wax every once in a while though.  If putting the GP exhaust back on wasnt such a major untertaking I might consider it.  Deafening people can always be fun!  Smiley  I'll see how the week plays out.  I might consider messing with it this week and see how caught up into it I want to get.

Whats the law say about running around without brake lights or turn signals?  Hand signals work ok?   Police

I'd say I would put my bike up there but I went for a ride on Sunday after the Toys for Tots run. A few friends and I were at the top of the crest and a strong gust of wind blew her over and hit another bike and knocked it over too. I am soooo pissed. bang head It scratched the right side upper a little bit and lower fairing got the worst of the hit, my irreplaceable seat has a few chunks of paint missing, scuffed the clutch cover, broke my mirror, turn signal, windscreen and bent my lever. The mounting pin for the tank got tweaked too and I had to bend it back so the tank would sit properly.

I just called my insurance co. to ask about a claim and come to find out, it got cancelled in Sept and I didn't know about it. Huh?? Now I am talking to them to try to sort things out. More to follow.

What the hell did it hit pal ?!? A FREAKING FAT HARLEY!?! Am so sorry! I'm glad I got to ride the beast in its best form! I know how much you like the bike and seat, it will get fixed...may just take time. If the insurance doesn't work, do it slowly through winter. Ask PJ's for information on the guy they use to paint & fix fairings...It will look better than stock! SORRY!!!  Cry

All it hit was the ground. I guess it hit pretty hard. I went by a paint shop yesterday and got a quote to fix the upper and the seat. $700. Ouch! That's not fixing the lower fairing and replacing all of the little parts. (mirror, signal, brake lever and windscreen) So it's not gonna be cheap.

Craig...  So sorry to hear about your pretty 996.  Cry  I know painters, but they're in SoCal unfortunately...

If you need any help with anything (although you've likely got this well-in-hand), let me know.  waytogo
