Both.

So . . . is Nicky gonna beat The Ben?  They're tied in the points.

Yes

If Stoner doesn't toss it away...

He'll be on the Honda before the rest finish the race.

I can't believe that pimped out crash hat George has been wearing. How the hell do you put that shit on and then wear it in public? On a race track. Full of spectators. With them all looking at you. bang head vomit Roll Eyes boo How embarrassing... OK, not nearly as bad as the stupid "space suit and helmet" planting the flag ala moon landing. Tongue Who writes his post race scripts?

I've said it before, if Rossi did it it would be better and funnier. George just looks like a wanker.

The only thing I was wondering about that help is this:  Why wear it during Qualy?  I'm assuming he only has one of those helmets considering it took a fair amount of time to lay the crystals.  That should only be worn during the race, since you could possibly bin it during Qualy and wreck the helmet.  Anyway, I think its ugly no matter who is wearing it, Rossi or Yorgie.  Elena Myers could possibly pull it off... but of course she's a girl.

Maybe Jorge will have the number one on the front of his bike in crystals next year.  That would be epic.

Good last race!  waytogo

Such a bummer to see Hayden fall, as he was looking fast...he seems to be steadily improving though. Hopefully next year he can get some podiums.

Nice ride by Spies...can't wait to see him on the factory machine!  waytogo

Watching Stoner wrestle that machine was entertaining. It'll be interesting to see how he gets along with the Honda.

Lorenzo's helmet... vomit He was haulin' ass though.  waytogo

That was fun to watch.  It was good to see Simoncelli getting back to his "make the beast with two backs you, I'll put my bike wherever I want regardless of where you are" ways.  Makes for fun racing.

Spies' starts suck.  They were AWESOME in wsbk, but he gives up too many places in GP and takes too long get up to pace.  By the time he can run the front-runner pace, they've already gapped him.  That said, that was a great race from him considering his ankle.  And his passes--while close as fack--are much more refined than Simoncellis.  I'm interested to see if next year he is going to be a factory rider like Dovizioso/Hayden or actually become an alien.  Everyone says it takes three years to really 'get' GP bikes (see Lorenzo), but I have much higher expectations of him for next year.

I really wanted Rossi to win as a goodbye to the M1, but Lorenzo, as he has been all year, was pretty much unstoppable.

spies has pretty much said all year that one of the things he really needs to improve on is having the confidence to get the most out of cold tires at the start of the race. his mid- and late-race pace is definitely podium-y, he just needs to quit giving up precious seconds in the opening laps.

I was pretty excited, thinking, "Yes, Ducati can take 1st and 2nd...for the first few laps then Hayden DNF, then Stoner I guess trying to just finish a race dropped.

I wonder if Hayden (or any racer) will get fined for throwing and kicking stuff after he crashed. I thought in a previous race a rider did for something similar.

that might've been because what they threw was a punch.  Grin
