I know there's so long beach area folks here, so I'm hoping I can get a bar/restaurant recommendation.

I'm planning to drag some bikers from North OC over to the LB area.  Looking for a place to terminate our ride that is bike friendly, relatively inexpensive, and not so insane on a friday evening that I have to shout to be heard.  Outdoor patio is a plus, but not mandatory.  Safe parking is absolutely a requirement.  I've been to a few of the downtown places and they're nice, but just a complete hassle and too many meat heads.

Any help?

thanks in advance.

Depending on the time you roll in, there are a bunch of places on Shoreline Drive. The Yard House comes to mind as a place to have a burger and a frosty brew with a nice view of the Marina and the Queen Mary.  There's a lot of paid parking as well.

I'm not a local so I don't know any little out of the way spots.

+1 on Shoreline... a bit more subdued than anything on Pine or 2nd St... Lots to chose from in the LBC..

E.J Maloys is a fav.... ( more of a locals thing and quite relaxing.... fire pit on the back patio too !)

thanks for the suggestions.  I've been to yardhouse before.

Anything else not in the convention center area?  I find that area a bit crowded for my 'quiet beer with some buddies' night.

thanks again

a non-moto friend suggested a place called Tracy's up on Spring and Bellflower.  Any experience there?

thanks for the suggestions everyone.  It's only going to be 3-5 of us, not a big crowd, but it's nice to check out new places, ya know?
